Dreaming In Smell-a-Vision

The dictionary defines lucid as being easily understood/clear.
I use to dream in short weird fragments and I wanted more.  I asked the universe to give me better dreams, lucid dreams and I began to dream in long, sequential, detailed movies in my sleep.

I got the dream book Dani Burling recommended The Dream Book by Betty Bethards.

I learned that I am each character.

I learned that a dream of having sex with my father interprets as: Merging the qualities of my father with myself. (thank goodness because I thought I was freaking out).

I decided to set an intention for my dreams and asked to smell my dream.  No smell happened.

I asked source to show me my dreams in color.  That night I dreamt a scene I’ve never seen before and it was in magnificent color.

I asked to smell my dream and nothing happened.

I asked to dream more and I intended to document and interpret my dreams.

That night I had 4 lengthy dreams, woke and wrote them down (20-30 minutes to write each one out) them back to sleep for the next one.  By morning I had been up many times that night and was so sleepy.

The next night I asked to only remember the dream just before waking in the morning (for goodness sake a girl needs her beauty rest).

I only had one dream before waking.

Then I asked to smell my dream, still nothing.

I asked to dream about nature & wildlife and  had an amazing dream about humongous whales swimming all around my island home.
Home: self,
Island: refuge for creative self-expression,
Whale: emotional expression, intuition, a whale of an opportunity is coming.

Wow this is going really well, I thought.

The night after I attended the second Shaman South Retreat I had a dream and this is it’s interpretation:

I am supported from many places: myself, my higher self and source (spirit, the universe, God).
I am in a safe and comfortable place.
Life doesn’t just happen to me, I have the ability to turn my emotions on and off, to intensify or subdue them.
I am cleansing away the old non-serving ways and accepting/receiving and behaving in new and higher ways.
I have a strong foundation and I source from my higher self.
I was in a place of safety but became affraid of examining my blockages & what’s holding me back.
At frst I was running away from myself.
Then I noticed opportunity knocking.  And even though the journey is uncertain I feel solid in knowing I come from a place of great inner wisdom and am a purposeful self.
I am in a cycle of new birth.
My daily interactions with people come from a place of safe and relaxed wisdom.

Wow, that was fabulous.

Then I asked to dream in smell-a vision and it HAPPENED!  I dreamt about caring for a baby and I smelled the dirty diaper…………

OMG really?  The first smell is a dirty diaper?……………

Ok, so there’s only up from here right?

Interpretation:

Baby: new birth, untapped potential for growth.

Diaper: Be gentle with yourself as you release old programs.
